On occasion, we will also seek the opinions of neuroradiologists, neuropsychologists, neurosurgeons and orthopedic specialists, and other expert witnesses.

The litigation is often complex since there are often multiple party defendants who are involved in these actions under multiple different theories of liability. Some of the cases we have worked on have had in excess of 10 party defendants, have required in excess of 50 depositions, have required more than 5 experts for our victim and have required tens of thousands of dollars in expert fees and file expenses to litigate. These cases usually require two to four weeks of trial and often involve two or more attorneys from our office as well as three to four support staff to gather evidence, schedule and organize the file. We also sometimes retain a video service to create a “day in the life” of the victim.
